The grove offers two distinct ceremony settings.

One is a graceful alley of oaks and pines, forming a natural aisle that draws the eye through the landscape and creates a dramatic approach for wedding ceremonies.

The second is a remarkable circular grove framed by a sweeping stand of live oaks and anchored by a magnificent Southern magnolia. Though large enough to accommodate substantial gatherings, the circular arrangement of the trees creates an unexpected sense of intimacy, embracing guests and drawing them naturally into the moment.

Beyond ceremonies, the Oak Grove lends itself beautifully to cocktail hours, outdoor receptions, and evenings spent beneath the trees. Chandeliers suspended from the branches, twinkling lights overhead, music drifting through the grove, and guests gathered beneath the canopy create an atmosphere that feels at once elegant, relaxed, and unforgettable.

At the edge of the grove stands an old farm bell that once marked the rhythms of daily life at Rip Raps—calling farmers from the fields and children home for supper. Today, the bell continues that tradition in a new way, summoning guests to wedding ceremonies and celebrations.
