The Dorothy bedroom is a sun-drenched room on the southeastern side of Rip Raps. Named for Aunt Dottie, an adventurer at heart, it overlooks the expansive east lawn and contains treasured reminders of her travels. The brass urn displayed in the room was part of a young woman's dowry and later gifted to Dorothy in gratitude during her Peace Corps years abroad.

The cheerful wallpaper evokes the feeling of a morning garden walk, filling the room with warmth and light. Waking up in Dorothy is truly a treat.
